ELPRT9000 is designed to be used over existing finishes in order to achieve a smooth white basecoat for refinish applications. PRT9000 offers industry leading stain, dye and tannin blocking in an easy to use, one-component water based primer. ELPRT9000 has excellent adhesion to a variety of existing coatings (solvent or water based) as well as veneers, solid wood or MDF.

USES

This product is designed for interior wood finishing applications such as cabinetry, tables, furniture and millwork. This product blocks tannin, stains and dye migration in one coat in most cases. For stubborn bleeding a second coat may be required.

Envirothane 300 Crystal Clear is a “water-white” urethane for use when color retention is of utmost importance. The coating is easy to apply and ultra-clear and intended for use over white basecoats in a glazed system or where maximum clarity is desired over a dark stain. The finished product offers an incredibly smooth and durable finish that is resistant to staining and marking.  ELPR170 Envirothane 170 White Primer High Solids provides an excellent foundation for any solid colour systems on wood or MDF. Based on a urethane resin system, this high-hide primer provides unsurpassed filling properties especially for MDF, where it does not swell the fibers like other water based products in the market. Fast dry times and smooth sanding make this primer the premier choice for opaque systems.

ELPR170-TB incorporates the tanning blocking additive directly into our Envirothane 170 High Solids Primer or it can be purchased as an additive, ELADD 004, and added on-site as needed for small or custom jobs.
